BOTOX APLICATIONS

It is a drug obtained by purification of a bacterial toxin using laboratory techniques. It has been used for more than 10 years in facial medical aesthetics. It is a safe FDA-approved substance.

One of the most common uses of Botox, even the most common use, is its use in facial medical aesthetics. Here it is used to remove wrinkles and lines on the face.

The wrinkles that respond best to Botox treatment are the forehead lines, the wrinkles around the eyes and between the eyebrows. Botox is also successfully used in the treatment of smile lines on the cheeks, eyebrow lifting, chin and neck wrinkles.

While better results are obtained from Botox application in the early stages when wrinkles occur, when wrinkles become deeper over time, it may be necessary to make additional filler injections in order for them to disappear completely.

The effect of botox is limited only to the application area, it fully emerges within 3-7 days after the application and completely disappears in a period of 4-6 months, when the effect of botox ends, it returns to the state before the application. With repetitive applications, the duration of the effect may be longer.
